A Romantic Wedding in Paradise

Yingsha and Evan flew from Canada to Oahu to have the most beautiful, romantic wedding ever. They hired Tori Rogers to ensure the best quality vendors and creative ideas for their wedding style (Creative, Romantic, Traditional, Unique, Fun Party) and Color theme (Champagne, dusty blue, steel blue, white, silver). The caveman painting displayed at the wedding was Evan's favorite gift from Yingsha. They chose Oahu for its Modern city with beach, ocean, shopping and great food. They hired a wedding planner because they don’t live in Hawaii and wanted to save time, think less, and make sure everything goes perfectly (which it did!). They wanted a Semi Formal setting that is elegant and shows good taste, offering a gorgeous sunset. Turtle Bay Resort was the perfect venue for their celebration. Their guests traveled from Canada and China. We repurposed all of the ceremony florals at the reception. The Ceremony took place in the Pavilion and the Reception was at Kuilima Point. Since the bride and groom are bartenders (they met in bartending school), they created a signature drink called “Love at first peach” with the following ingredients: 3 parts Prosecco, 1 part Peach Schnapps, and 2 drops Grenadine for pink color. Add a couple of blueberries for garnish. The challenge for this wedding was the floral chandelier, which was breathtaking, but HEAVY! Dave Miyamoto-Photographer. The Blooming Pot-Florist.
