How fabulous is your life when you get to have your wedding in your favorite vacation spot? Well, that is just what Catherine and Ivan got to do with 22 of their closest friends and relatives. Loving Maui for its warm weather, fresh air, outdoor lifestyle, and relaxing vibe, Maui offered them the perfect balance of all the islands with lots of breathtaking beaches and hiking trails. Catherine and Ivan wanted these five words to describe their wedding: Gorgeous, Romantic, Beautiful, Fun, Unforgettable. The gorgeous photos by MeewMeew Studios definitely represent that and more!
The couple’s vision was very specific. They wanted an outdoor ceremony and evening wedding reception on an oceanfront lawn. Photography was very important, so we made sure there was enough coverage time to capture all of the wedding elements and important moments of the celebration. The bride shared many Pinterest inspiration photos of dining canopies covering one elegant, elaborately decorated long dining table displaying candles, white flower arrangements, gold accents and gold chiavari chairs. Delicious food- hors d’oeuvres and a plated dinner- plentiful amounts of cocktails, and a most fabulous wedding cake were all very important to the couple. A fun guest experience was a must—dancing and a photo booth.
All on a limited budget (Under $17,000). Which Maui Wedding Planner Tori Rogers made happen. And it was PERFECT! Here is how that happened….
-Tori made a list of each item needed for each part of the wedding. (see below) -Tori made sure the couple had the most important elements of their wish list and had them compromise on the things that were not as important. -Tori provided HER COST on all items and did not increase any vendor prices. -Tori was there from start to finish to supervise all set up and handle any issues that arose, so that when the event started the couple only knew how perfect it was. -Tori was able to provide items from her personal inventory to embellish the decor and save the couple money, yet still provide their vision. -The couple TRUSTED Tori. This was very important. -Tori only works with the most amazing professionals on the island so that the event runs smoothly. -Tori communicated all details with all of the vendors to make sure that the day’s work was a team effort and everyone was on the same page.
