Loulu Palm Estate Wedding: The multicultural wedding that had it all!

We so enjoyed working with Serelle and Jeff from California, helping them to incorporate their many cultures into their wedding celebration. This was also a wedding where family played a large role in the wedding. The couple’s officiant was the minister from the family’s church on Oahu. The groom’s auntie is a florist on Oahu and provided the florals for the wedding day. Family members danced beautiful hula for the couple and the guests. The couple wanted muted colors as the main colors with bright accent colors. Over 100 lanterns decorated the clear top tent, sheltering their almost 100 wedding guests. Some fun trends like benches for the ceremony and a groomswoman in the bridal party were included in the wedding day. A shave ice station provided refreshing shave ice cones spiked with flavor rums. Cafe lights provided a romantic ambiance over the dance floor. Two separate lounge structures made for great conversation areas throughout the evening. A photo booth created a fun atmostphere for the guests, especially for those who did not want to dance. And, let’s not forget the Chinese Lion Dance!  Personal touches included the bride and groom writing special notes to each other before the ceremony, naming the tables after places they planned to visit during their honeymoon, thank you notes attached to each wedding favor, naming the shave ice station, and a personalized kimono.  It was just so perfect that they were even blessed with a perfect rainbow.
